• New York State Immunization Program website -  The first link at the top, for Providers, will lead to the CDC's most recent Immunization schedule.  To make things much easier for parents, the link under Child and Adolescent Immunizations leads to a PDF of a "checkmark" schedule.  This is simpler for all to follow.
   
  
• New York Chapter 1 Pediatric Council Initiatives
  • NY 1 Chapter Successfully Advocates for Increased Vaccine Payments by Preferred Care

    Preferred Care announced that it increased its vaccine payments, effective April 1, 2008.  The NY1 Chapter Pediatric Council had been advocating to carriers for appropriate payments for vaccines.  Preferred Care is increasing payments for the HPV vaccine (CPT code 90649), Rotavirus vaccine (CPT code 90680), and Measles, Mumps, Rubella vaccine (CPT code 90707).
