The following members have been presented with Special Achievement Awards for 2007-08 for their work in Chapter 3:

Gale Burstein, MD	- for her highly effective efforts to bring to the forefront key adolescent issues including confidentiality, quality improvement and STI treatment and testing, and for obtaining grant funding to support a statewide policy project for assuring confidentiality when EOB forms are transmitted.
Steve Cook, MD, MPH	- for his leadership in addressing the issue of childhood obesity through quality improvement endeavors targeting practice and systems changes.
